We’re delighted to announce that Ronan Crowley has been elected Vice President and President-Elect of the International James Joyce Foundation. He joins President John McCourt at the helm of the Foundation from 2021 to 2028. Ronan is based in Brussels, Belgium and, from September, will be part of the ERC-funded project Classical Influences and Irish Culture at Aarhus University in Denmark. He received his PhD in English from the University at Buffalo in 2014 – when he becomes president he will be the third president of the Foundation to have completed a PhD at Buffalo. Ronan is also part of the organizing committee with John, Katherine O’Callaghan, and Laura Pelaschiar for Omniscientific Joyce, the 27th International James Joyce Symposium, which takes place online next week.
